Objective: know score from assessment give by our instrument teachers

Today we got to find out the scores for our music assessment last week. I was really excited and at the same time feeling nervous because i wanted to get a good score. When i got my score i was so relieved because i got 10/10. I was really proud of myself for trying hard but next time i have to practice more. We also watched some people redo the test and we also watched the people who were absent. It was very entertaining and i enjoyed watching them play.

OBJECTIVE: play baroque music assessment
Today in music class everybody had to play the song that people we picked that was related to baroque music. The piece i chose was from the suzuki book number 4  and my piece was concerto in A minor 1st movement. I was a little bit nervous when i played and i think i made a lot of  mistakes and i hope i can get a good grade.

Today Mr. John checked the booklets of all the students and I was mostly complete but next time I have to update the reflections in the internet in my blog so I won't have troubles doing my Baroque music playing assessment.

Today we were revising on the G major scale and Mr. Harry chose two from each instrument. I had a good time playing it but I have to practice more on playing my piece because I was not accurate with all the notes. Improving that would get me a good grade on my assessment.

Today I had to do an open book test on Johann Sebastian Bach. It was kind of hard but I managed to do the test well. But I think the fact that it was an open book test helped alot. It was really interesting.

Today we had to show the piece that we had to play for assessment and once I was picked I played my best in front of the class. But I think I should improve so I can get a higher mark.

Today we did our assessment. Before the assessment Mr. John let us practice for 40 minutes and then I was able to do it well.

Today we were told by Mr john what our next assesment was and it was on thursday. I think that our assesment was a write and and answer type of quiz and our material to study was the notebook for music and the reflection book which had lots of information that is useful for the quiz.

Today we had to sing Santa lucia for our assesment which was in front of the class and i sang it with nathan. It was intense and i was really nervous because i was not sure i was ready but turns out i was able to sing it properly but i had so little mistakes and i think it was the long note so i have to improve on my breathing skills so next time i can sing longer notes.

today we had to do the santa lucia rehersal. We also had to pick a partner and i choe  nathan. It was really fun and i enjoyed singing together.

On thursday we got the assesment worksheet/ booklet and then we continued Santa lucia. I got better after practicing on the song.

On the first session of the week we had to saing a song called " santa lucia. it was hard because it was an italian sing so the pronounciation was hard so i have to improve.
